Morrison by MJ Fields and Chelsea Camaron

Morrison by Chelsea Camaron and MJ Fields

For Morrison Caldwell, life is a game of chance. A high roller with a legendary poker face, he’s the wild card of the family, always chasing the next thrill and never staying put for long. The one place that always lures him back is Las Vegas, with its hot tables and even hotter women. He’s perfectly content to live his life as a series of one-night stands. But when a parking lot confrontation with a cocktail waitress takes a naughty turn, she leaves Morrison aching for another round.
After a long losing streak in Sin City, Hailey Poe is ready to get lucky. A steamy tryst with a cocky, mysterious stranger is the kind of no-strings encounter she’s been craving . . . until Morrison Caldwell asks for more than she’s willing to offer. But when Hailey’s controlling, soon-to-be ex-husband tries to take her daughter away, she can’t afford to turn down a helping hand. In this winner-takes-all game, Morrison is gambling with Hailey’s life—and her heart.

My Review…..

How much do I love this series? Like….a lot a lot! From book 1 I have been looking forward to the other brother’s stories, and we were not disappointed with Morrison.
Morrison, so cocky, so fierce, so protective…soooo damn sexy! ***insert dreamy eyes and sighs here***
Morrison and Hailey meet each other in Vegas. Hailey has been in a loveless marriage for years due to a lost bet at the tables. She is the daughter of a whore and her pimp. She is jaded, bitter, and the only bright in her life is her daughter.
Morrison is a good man who splits his time between his home in Detroit and Vegas where he goes to “work”. He’s good at the game, both on the tables and off. He meets Hailey and is immediately taken by her. She’s attracted to him, but in her mind, there is always a catch….what does he want, what will I owe him, etc.
Hailey’s “husband” is a douche and apparently some Vegas underground badass. He “allows” her to leave, but holds her debt to him over her head. She is eventually able to pay him off, but of course it’s never that easy. And Morrison takes care of the remainder, all for her and her child. He loves this “little momma” and her “little chick”. It takes Hailey a hot minute to realize that not everyone is out to take advantage of her, and they get their HEA.

I can’t wait for Jagger’s story!!!

Book One

One bourbon, one shot, one night—that’s my world. Life is finally getting on track for me and my brothers. Things are far from perfect, but after removing the thorn from our sides, they damn sure are looking up.” –Hendrix Caldwell.

Hendrix Caldwell, the oldest of the Caldwell brothers, is the ever steady voice of reason out of the three Detroit—Rock City’s—wild boys. Focused, determined, and living with a chip on his shoulder, Hendrix is married to his bar, allowing no time for anything more than a casual hook up. Work hard, play harder—that is the Caldwell brothers’ way.

For Olivia Hemmingway, life is nothing except the school of hard knocks. Born as the consequence of a one night stand, Olivia didn’t have the childhood found in movies and books. However, she’s all grown up now and completely on her own. Drowning in debt, she is looking for a small break in life, but the hits just keep on coming.

One night, one charity event, two masks hiding them from the world and each other… Two people let go and share the best of each other in a luxury hotel’s storage closet for one night they both can’t forget. One night they both revisit in their dreams.

What happens when two worlds collide not once, but twice? When they find out who was behind the mask, will sparks fly, or will their past demons keep them apart?
