I absolutely LOVED this book! I loved it HARD!!!
This book is about Olive and Jason. They meet when Olive is just a little girl, but she falls in love with Jason right then and there.
Jason is her brother’s best friend and a few years older.
Jason moves away, and becomes a famous movie star. Flash forward several more years, and Olive has written an indie novel about her love for Jason, and it is a best seller and being adapted into film.
Of course, who else can play the lead but Jason Thorn.
During their time apart and his time as a famous movie star, he has not behaved himself in the “relationship” department. So, his “team” is on him to reform is “brand” if you will, and want him to get married….”for show” of course.
He and Olive hang out, of course, she still loves him….he develops feelings for her as well. They get “married” and FINALLY PRAISE THE LORD! After Dancing around it for about 70% of the book, have an epic kiss and then lots and lots of sex.
I loved Jason. His love for Olive was evident throughout the book even if it took him a minute to realize it.
Olive’s friends sucked, except Lucy, who stuck by her and had her best interest at heart.
I’m an avid reader. Therefore, a big dreamer. I love nothing more than to escape real life to find those very few magical moments in a book. I love how it has the power of stealing your worries away, putting a smile on your face, and of course sometimes making you crush on fictional characters. If I can manage to do even one of those things for a reader, I will be a happy writer.
I can’t even begin to describe how exciting it is to give life to new characters and fall for them. It’s a different kind of addiction I’m determined to keep alive.
I’m still searching for my own happy ending. Until that happens, I’ll live vicariously through my own characters.
