It’s all fun and games until egos get hurt.
After a year of a seemingly happily-ever-after, Troy Babilonia throws a curve ball that smacks Larson Blackburn right in the head. When Troy’s debut novel, “Bridge to Lonely,” threatens to overshadow Larson’s own success, inviting a past shadow into the light of their present, the two alphas must learn to adjust.
Because Black Balled just wasn’t enough…Smith & LeNoir bring you Hard Edit. Adult Content 18+
As a straight woman reading about two gay men’s lives I really have to suspend my own reality for a bit to try and get into their headspace. In all fairness, I know what I THINK they would be like.. but honestly when I get into most of these stories, its nothing like what I have conjured up in my head.
Enter Troy and Larson. Troy… such a witty smart a$$. God, I love him. Larson, arrogant and self assured almost to the point of it being a total turn off for me, but stopping just at the hot AF point. Two alpha particles spinning around and around each other constantly on the verge of collision and total destruction. Yet somehow, instead of destroying each other, they create a beautiful energy.
Hard Edit is the finale sequel to Black Balled and follows Troy and Larson as they navigate Troy’s new found fame after writing a book. Larson has always been the one in the spotlight and when jealousy creeps in, it drives somewhat of a wedge between the two of them. Throw in Troy’s old flame and you’ve got serious problems. The two battle each other with words, lots of them – mostly heavy, HEAVY sarcasm. To the point it often made me uncomfortable and want to just shake both of them. Its a beautifully written story with well developed characters and in my opinion a great way to end the series.
