Bad Boys After Dark: DylanBad Boys After Dark: Dylan by Melissa Foster

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After recently been introduced to Melissa Foster and her seeming ability to only write heroes that I instantly fall in love with, along comes Dylan Bad. (yes, that’s his name *swoon*) Hes the owner of the bar that Tiffany Winters, sports agent extraordinaire, runs into one night to field a phone call. Not knowing shes catching the tail end of his brother Mick Bad’s wedding. Remember Mick from book #1? If you havent read it, go on.. one click it now. Its worth it. 😉
Dylan is super alpha and amazing. Hes the perfect addition to this series and as Mick’s brother it makes sense to have him as the sequel. I loved his character and think MF did a great job showing him transition from a self professed man who loves the “damsel in distress” to falling for a uber independent, hard working, career oriented woman like Tiffany. My only real issue with the story was with Tiffany herself. I often have problems with strong female characters and I honestly just felt that at times, she was over the top. Especially when it came to her job and her obsession with her phone. I know that phones are the “in” thing right now, but come on. Give in and pay the man the attention he deserves. Or at least give him back the amount of attention he is giving you. At about the halfway point Tiffany’s character started to soften and gradually I gained affection for her as the relationship grew. As the story ended, it was clearly a very well written and well thought out book and once again I am super pleased with a Melissa Foster hero!!
I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the books in this series!
